  • Total volume includes subcontract work, material and labor figured on your most recently completed fiscal year.

The yearly membership fee encompasses all costs, including chapter and National contributions, constituting approximately one-third of the total. Your membership expenditure covers subscriptions to the ABC National Magazine, Construction Executive, and the Chapter's quarterly magazine, monthly newsletter and weekly email updates. Dues are due on January 1. New members are required to pay one full year’s dues upon joining. Upon renewal, the unused months of the first year are credited. “Non-payment” by April 1 will result in expiration of membership/cancellation of workers compensation. All newly approved members must attend a minimum of two events a year or you will be dropped from membership.

ABC dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes but may be partially deductible as a business expense. ABC estimates that for 2025, 91.94% is deductible and 8.06% is not because this portion of your dues is related to lobbying activities on behalf of its members. Membership dues are nonrefundable.

    • That a contractor, supplier or associate/non-profit business member should have the right to deal with any other business.
    • That no person’s right to earn a livelihood should be affected by membership or non-membership in a labor organization and that every firm, as provided by law should have the right to operate union, open shop or merit shop as it deems fit.
    • That as a merit shop contractor, supplier or associate member, I will support free enterprise in the construction industry and will not participate in, condone, encourage or support any coercion, intimidation, secondary boycotts, work restrictions or the interference with the right to manage in the best interest of the worker, employer and construction consumer.
